Hi! My name is Mireia, but you can call me Mimi! As a Licensed Holistic Nutrition Practitioner CAIN-LHNP specializing in women's health, I help women navigate menstrual issues, PCOS, endometriosis, perimenopause, post-menopause, and pregnancy. My approach focuses on identifying and addressing the root causes and on providing the knowledge to empower women to manage their symptoms naturally. My journey hasn't been a smooth one. Period health was a constant battle for me with polycystic ovaries excruciatingly irregular cycles and the dreaded PMS as my daily companions. Despite exhibiting nearly all the signs and symptoms of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome PCOS I was repeatedly told that diagnosis wasn't on the table. Don't worry your periods will sort themselves out they said. The contraceptive pill seemed like a solution at first, but the side effects soon became too much to bear. Even in my early 30s the struggle persisted compounded by weight gain and a parade of prescriptions including progesterone each with its own set of unwelcome side effects. It was disheartening to feel unheard to have my concerns brushed aside as mere inconveniences. But then came my turning point. My journey into the realm of nutrition began at Nutraphoria School of Holistic Nutrition where I stumbled upon a revelation there was a way to reclaim control over my health. At 35 I finally found the key to regulating my cycles naturally a discovery that left me wishing I'd unearthed it sooner. Now armed with personal experience and professional expertise I'm here to guide you through your own health odyssey I get it I've been where you are told that our struggles are just par for the course of womanhood that we should simply learn to live with them. But your body is trying to tell you something and it s time to start listening. That's why I've made it my mission to carve out a safe space where women can share their stories knowing they'll be heard I specialize in supporting those who are tired of having their problems dismissed and have tried multiple options without success, equipping them with the knowledge and tools to reclaim their vitality. My approach is holistic recognizing that each individual is a complex being with unique needs. From nutrition to lifestyle stress management to sleep hygiene I consider every facet of your well being because true health encompasses so much more than just what's on your plate. I work collaboratively with you to create an optimal plan that aligns with your lifestyle and goals.
